Our games include: Lotto, OZ Lotto, Powerball, Lucky Lotteries, Instant Scratchies and Pools.  Our systems handle up to a million and a half transactions on a given day. 

As a key team member of the Corporate Systems section, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of the applications which support our business. We pride ourselves in the quality and diversity of our data and data bases, and this role will have ample opportunity to work with our business users to strategically use this data to improve our business.

Applicants should have a sound development background in web and desktop applications development as well as a broad knowledge and experience in SQL data bases – whatever the flavour!  You will have developed many software solutions and be comfortable in developing solutions from ground up, as well as problem solving in a technical environment.

Your skillset will include -

  • Data Mining/OLAP Tools.
  • General Database design and management .
  • Report design and creation.
  • Web-based development.
  • Programming in VB, C# or similar.

You will be working in a small team and will need to be responsive to business requests and be able to work on multiple concurrent tasks. We are in the process of implementing a Business Intelligence initiative, using Cognos8. While experience in Cognos is not essential, it would be an advantage. The right person could expect appropriate training in this area to add to your expertise.
